The loop follows wis 42 and wis 57 along the coasts of lake michigan and green bay in door county. It begins just north of the city of sturgeon bay following state highway 57 north along one side of the peninsula to northport and gills rock at the very tip and then heads south on state highway 42 back to the starting point. Don t forget your camera. The byway is a 66 mile loop that winds over the niagara escarpment from lake michigan to steep bluffs of green bay.
