Does black plastic guttering fade.

The colour is bonded to become part of the upvc instead of adhering to the surface as it did in the early years of manufacture when fading was an issue. I said we needed brown as everything else was brown and it d look daft. Bringing faded guttering back to life. I want it all changed and was going to go for black again as i think white looks dirty quickly.

Trade said it was no problem but said black plastic is much cheaper than brown plastic. Add a small coin sized dab of olive oil to a washcloth or paper towel a little goes a long way and you can always add more later as needed. Black plastic gutters faded can they be made to shine.
